FC Robo’s Monday Gift came up as a substitute to hand Nigeria a precious 2-0 victory on the opening day of the maiden edition of the Aisha Buhari Invitational Women’s Tournament in the City of Lagos, Nigeria.
The Falcons who had a winless three-match campaign at the US Summer Series in June welcomed the Female Eagles of Mali the to Mobolaji Johnson Arena with the aim of returning to winning ways.

At the end of 90 minutes the Malians added more pressure to the resolute defense of the Super Falcons but at One minute into added time, the same Gift Monday completed her brace as she looped the ball over an advancing Karenta to put huge smiles on the face of the few Nigerians at the stadium.
The Super Falcons next game is against Morocco on Tuesday next week.
