Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) Enugu Rangers International football club on Easter Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium recorded an impressive win over MFM Football Club of Lagos 1 – 0 in Matchday 16 of 2018/2019 Season.
The Olukoya boys of MFM who recorded the same scoreline at the Agege Stadium Lagos in match day 1 fixture defeated the Rangers International FC by a lone goal was the only defeat for the Flying Antelope this term.
MFM FC went into the game with all hopes of repeating what happened the last time but were all disappointed as Rangers dominated the game all through and finally broke the deadlock though a goal scored by Seka Pascal assisted by Ajani Ibrahim in 36th minutes which was enough to earn Rangers International FC the maximum three points at stake and say ‘Happy Easter’ to her Supporters.

The MFM Chief Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu in a post match interview gave credit to the home team and also expects the team to bounce back from the defeat.

Rangers is still at the top of the summit in group A with 31 points; 6 points ahead of Enyimba(25) 2nd, while MFM and Lobi have 24 and 23 points respectively with the flying Antelope having 2 outstanding games.
