The 2019 NWPL winners will be determined at the Super 4 in Lagos.
The 2019 Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) Super 4 will hold in Lagos according to the organisers.
The tournament is usually played in an abridged format with a Super 4 tournament at the end of the season with the top two teams from each group to determine its winner.
This year’s edition will kick off on Friday, November 1 at the Agege Stadium in Agege, Lagos.
Defending champions Bayelsa Queens, Adamawa Queens, Confluence Queens and Rivers Angels will be competing at this year’s Super 4 tournament.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Alhaji Ayo Abdulrahman, the four participating clubs are expected to arrive in Lagos on Tuesday, October 29.
The pre-match meetings/press conference for the four teams come up on Wednesday, October 30, while the official warm up by the clubs has been fixed for Thursday, October 31.
Two games will be played on the first day while the third-place game and the final match will be played on Sunday, November 3.
Bayelsa Queens won the 2018 NWPL title in January 2019 after beating Nasarawa Amazons 2-0 in the final of the Super 4 played on January 2019.
